Brussels has irregular and a bit erratic nature. Concrete and glass offices and institutions interwine with small brick houses with back gardens. It is not harmonious as Paris or Barcelona, but more surrealist in Alice in Wonderland way. You never know if the next turn brings a street of blooming cherry trees or not so elegant concrete box.
